1978 Ford Capri 3.0 Ghia. Manual 66000 Miles and 6 Owners from New. We have a lot of old MOTs back to 1992 confirming the mileage. The car was restored around 2014 and there is over 15K of receipts as everything was either new or refurbished. The car has seen very little use over recent years and has always been garaged. Its now tax and MOT exempt. 

 

Body - 3.0 shell with extra strengthening on inner wings. Was restored in 2014 and a total of £10400 was spent on the body restoration.Its a very good looking car. Its finished in its original Tibetan Gold but has S stripes added rather than the Ghia trim. At the time of restoration it had new centre bumpers. Very good looking car in a rare colour. Sunroof works both ways 

 

Mechanics - Good 3.0 engine which was rebuilt at the time of the restoration. Standard 4 speed manual box. Uprated springs and shocks. Car starts runs and drives well. Ride is a little firm due to to uprated suspension but it handles very well out on the road. Heater fan works on both speeds. Couple of minor niggles. Rev counter is a little erratic and flasher unit sometimes stops flashing. Other than that really good mechanically.

 

Interior - Seats have been retrimmed all in black beta cloth. No cracks on dash. Uncut fascia, good door cards. New headlining. Inside is like brand new.

 

Wheels - Refurbished Capri S / Laser Alloys with good tyres
