Ford Escort Bantam Pickup. This is a genuine ford built pickup which was only available in South Africa. Its RHD with all tax and duty paid and NOVA declaration done. Fairly solid old vehicle which starts runs and drives. Will need restored as its a bit scruffy. Will also need MOTd then UK registered but we will help the new owner with all the registration paperwork.Currently fitted with a toyota petrol engine which runs fine

 

Body - Ford built Bantam pickup. Fairly solid underneath but will need a few small repairs on floors. Battery tray looks good, inner wings are good. Rear tub is good.. The saving grace is its not previously been repaired or botched up. Paintwork is reasonably very scruffy as this was a working truck. Minor scuffs and scrapes on most panels. Body is fairly rot free. 

 

Mechanics - Toyota 1.3 petrol engine and box. Starts runs and drives fine but would obviously be better put back to standard. Engine, box , clutch and brakes all seem good. 

 

Interior - Original bench seat which badly needs retrimmed at some point. Bit scruffy inside as again was a workhorse

 

Wheels - Standard ford steels from a cortina / capri. Tyres are not the best.

 

Scruffy old workhorse but fairly solid and will make a great starting point for a project. . Please feel free to come and see it. We have a ramp so you can look underneath.
