Ford Escort Sport fitted with 1300 engine. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. Fully Uk registered NMA 547T and we have the V5 here. Not a bad shell and car starts and runs but been clobbered together and will need done to a better standard.

Body - Ford Escort MK2 1600 Sport export spec shell with extra strengthening similar to our RS models. Good original inner wings,struttops, sills, arches, boot wells.Looks like its had a repair on one front floor pan and needs a very minor repair in spare wheel well. Other than that it looks decent structurally. Paintwork isnt too bad apart from the bonnet which has picked up a minor dent and scrapes in transit. Good quarter bumpers

Mechanics - This is where the problems start. 1300 crossflow fitted, which they kinda forgot to tell me and sold me it as a 1600. Does start and run but carb has no choke flaps so that needs looking at. Alternator light is on. 4 speed gearbox. Gearstick is like stirring soup. Feels like its got 3 reverses and 2nd gear. Sure they are all in there somewhere but its easier to find the sunroof on a canoe. Will need going through mechanically from front to back. Will also need some sound deadening put in a s feels like the engine is sitting on your knees

Interior - Black Sport back seat, Rolltop matching front seats which I think may have came from an XR6 Cortina and are in good order. Door cards have been screwed on so need replaced. Dash top been recovered by someone wearing boxing gloves.

Wheels - Standard sport deep dish steels which look decent with 175/70 13 tyres.
