1981 Ford Capri 2.8i. Car has only done 98000 miles and has been in storage sine 2007 until recently.  Its currently motd till Jan 23. . We have the V5, keys and the current MOT. Car starts runs and drives. Its a good useable car with a bit room for improvement

 

Body - 2.8 shell with additional strengthening from standard models. Underneath the car is very good as its just passed an MOT. Its had new sills in the past and a few minor repairs underneath but currently everything is solid and looks decent. Looks like original wings. Car looks great in the pics but paintwork would need attention if you wanted a show car. Their is evidence of a few diy touchups, chips and the bonnet is quite flat. All panels good and straight. Gaps are good. Minor rust bubbles on front edge of the bonnet and the passenger side scuttle panel.  Sunroof works both ways

 

Mechanics - Car starts and runs fine. Would probably benefit from a service as hardly been used in recent years and was in storage from about 2007.It goes very well and pulls like a train.  Full stainless magnex exhaust has been fitted at some point . Everything else is standard 2.8 and in good working order.Heater fan foes not appear to work which is common on capris. New power steering hoses fitted. Has been upgraded to a 5 Speed box

 

Interior - Good clean seats with no rips or tears. No cracks on dash. Good original door cards, headlining and carpet. Fuel guage is temperamental and speedo doesnt appear to work. Other guages are fine

 

Wheels - 13" standard pepperpots with good matching Michelin tyres.
