Ford Capri 2.8 Injection. 1984 Model which has covered 96000 Miles. Its MOTd till Oct 2022. It comes with 4 folders full of paperwork and receipts, loads of old MOTS dating back to its first MOT in 1987. The car has had fortunes spent on it as listed below and is in very very good order . We have the original handbooks and service book which has 12 stamps covering it up to 78000 miles. There are 2 sets of keys with the car

 

Body - Very clean shell. Still on its original wings and all original panels. Very solid car from front to back which has all been painted body colour underneath. Paintwork is lovely and the car would sit with the  best of them quite happily at any show. The car was restored at some point and had a bare metal respray. There is a usb stick with pictures on it from when it was restored.

All chassis rails sprayed inside with waxoyl. New anti-drum pads (fully painted floor before and after fitting)

 

Mechanics - Rebuilt heater with foam seals, greased mechanics, new motor, new resistor, flushed radiator. Blows hot and cold. Fuel tank flushed, opened, scrubbed clean, sealed. New hanger bolts.New Bosch fuel pump and fuel filters. Reconditioned metering head including new basket filters. Reconditioned warm up regulator. New fuel sender (from the Capri Club).All suspension, running gear, cross member, prop, top mounts, all brackets either powcercoated or painted, Adjustable Avo shocks.Front Strut Brace painted in body colour, looks standard fit.

Rear Strut Brace to improve road holding.Gearbox has all new seals, oil flushed and replaced, new stick saddle. New clutch kit, resurfaced flywheel.New water pump.New alternator.

New power steering rack, track rod ends and track control arms.Full Superflex poly bush set with stainless steel inserts.New Superflex Bump Stop Polybush Axle Bump Stops fitted, New window, door, boot and sunroof seals.New weather strips and felt window channels.All wiring repaired using heat shrink joins and original connectors.Brand new brakes front and rear including rear drums, shoes, spring kit and handbrake cable.New headlining.New seals on oil cooler/filter.air filter, steering gaiter kit, indicator stalk, audio suppressor, new spare tyre

Interior - All standard and in very good order. Seats are very good with no rips, tears or sagging. Headlining is good, door cards are very clean. Carpet is fairly new.

 

Wheels - 15 Inch 5 spoke revolutions with good tyres. Wheels are as new.
