Ford Cortina MK3 1.6. This is a RHD Import from South Africa . All tax and duty has been paid and the NOVA declaration done. We will complete all the UK registration paperwork for the new owner in their name and assist with the process until its Uk registered. Very solid old car which starts runs and drives. ACr has done 111000 kms or 70000 miles. Car is now tax and MOT exempt
Body - Mk3 Cortina. Straight body, big six bonnet, very solid floors which have never been welded. Original inner wings, sills, arches. Only repair we can see its had is in the spare wheel well. It could do with being done to a better standard but overall a good solid original shell. Paintwork is decent, not a show winner but perfectly useable. Couple of very minor bubbles on rear arch but otherwise pretty good and straight. That the cars original colour called " Lisptick Red" as shown on the build plate.Rear light lenses could do with changing as they are a bit discoloured and have the SA reflectors stuck on them
Mechanics - Really sweet 1600 crossflow. Good clutch and brakes. You can feel a bit movement in back suspension so i suspect it may need a few bushes on the back end. As with any old car it will need a good checkover before being sent hurtling down your local B road, but nothing major to report.
Interior - All standard and original and in good order. A good scrub on the seats wouldnt go amiss but decent inside. .
Wheels - Original rostyles x 5 but with too low profile tyres so these would need changing.
Overall a good old solid car with a great engine. Just needs a few minor tidy ups. Please feel free to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath.
